1. Acceptance

2. No advocate–client relationship
Nothing on this website creates an advocate–client relationship. A formal relationship is established only once a written Engagement Letter has been signed by both you and Monarch Legal and any required retainer has been received.
3. Informational use only
Content on this site is for general information and is not legal advice. You should not act or refrain from acting on the basis of any information here without seeking advice specific to your situation. We make no warranty as to accuracy, completeness or currency.
4. Engagement terms (summary)
- All fees quoted are base retainers. Work outside scope is quoted in writing before it begins.
- Court appearances are billed separately per hearing, on all plans.
- Liability is capped at the total fees paid for the specific engagement.
- No outcome is guaranteed.
- You indemnify us for losses arising from false information you provide.
- Annual retainers are non-refundable once work has commenced.
- We may exercise a lien over documents for unpaid fees.
- Electronic signatures are valid under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
- Confidentiality obligations survive termination by five (5) years.
5. Intellectual property
All content on this site (text, layout, logo, structure) is the property of Monarch Legal and is protected under applicable Indian and international IP laws. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works without prior written permission.
6. Third-party links
The site may link to third-party resources. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content of those resources.
7. Dispute resolution
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or any engagement shall be resolved by arbitration seated in Bengaluru, Karnataka, in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The courts at Bengaluru shall have exclusive jurisdiction. The limitation period for any claim is twelve (12) months from the date the cause of action arose.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
